New Mixylodian Single, Tour With Aleks + The Ramps

Colorful Quebecian pop band Mixylodian have just released a new single in Australia, the rather unjustly entitled “Fairly Well” – because it’s more than just that, it’s actually really good. Besides the new single, Mixylodian will be doing a cross-country tour of Canada from May 1st to May 22nd, directly followed by a tour in Australia that will last until July 22nd.

There’s a hitch though – only frontman Mixy will be present on the Australian tour as the whole band can’t afford the trip. But don’t worry, Mixy will be backed up by popular Aussie band Aleks + The Ramps whom he helped set up a tour of Canada last year by cramming both bands (= 15 people!) into his 1979 Doge van. And considering the huge fanbase The Ramps have in their native country, it will help Mixylodian reach a much bigger audience – despite not all being present.
